Five months after !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! to buy a car that turned out to be !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , I found myself in the driver’s seat of an E36 M3 with a Ford 5.0 V8 installed, plumbed up, and ready to rock.

Join me on an exciting journey experiencing the wonder and the majesty of eight angry cylinders attempting to brutalize a neglected German chassis. Chuckle at my witty commentary. Marvel at how I apparently can’t drive with my mouth shut. And enjoy the burnout that blew off my coolant hose (more on that next week).

Here’s a quick summary-

- Bad clutch

- Bad brakes

- Bad interior

- Bad turn signal

- Good engine

- Bye-bye rear tires

You’ve combined two of my favorite things, old M3s and Ford V8s. Should be fun once sorted. You’ll have to reinforce the rear floor at the subframe attachment points, and it’ll probably break the subframe. Stock 328s do if tracked, I can imagine this kind of torque will just shred it.
